Its all about carbs, water and timing

Be sporty and spend some time on moderate physical activity everyday. Pick up a sport and play it atleast two to three times a week. It maybe a combination of both strength and endurance. It could be a team game, or individual an activity like cycling , running, swimming.

Athletic performance is vastly influenced by the quantity of fluid and food taken by an athlete. A bountiful and proper diet must be paired with a healthy, well rounded meal plan. For an athlete, carbs should be the preferred source of energy coming from simple and complex forms. Before getting onto the field, be sure to have consumed a high carb snack an hour before. In this hot sticky weather, keep yourself sufficiently hydrated before, during and after the sport. The recovery period may include a carb and protein rich snack with plenty of fluids and electrolytes.
